Dementia 101

Please join us for a Dementia 101 presentation by Dr. Helen Kao.  Are these normal aging changes? How is a diagnosis of dementia made? What are cognitive domains and how can they help you understand someone with dementia?

Dr. Kao is Medical Director of Clinical Innovations at Lumina Hospice and Palliative Care and Professor of Medicine with the University of California San Francisco. She is board certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospice & palliative medicine.

This is the first in the Dementia Series Community Lectures at the Albany Public Library.  All events are from noon-1 p.m.
