Welcome to the Kid’s Corner!
The Albany Public Library takes fun very seriously. We have programs for kids and families every week, including five unique story time sessions! We also have a Children’s room full of intentional activities to promote mindful play and literacy.
Upcoming Events for Children
Tweens!
Every month there are at least two programs just for the Tweens (5th-8th Graders)! The second Thursday of every month is Tween Thursday where you can do crafts, play video games, and hang out with peers. The last Thursday of the month is Tween Book Club where you are in charge of the conversation! Chat about books, eat snacks, and make friends!
The Children’s room also has a Tween Space to give you a quiet spot to read, do crafts, and hang out with other tweens!
