Screen Free Week

May 7 – 11

Celebrate screen free week with the library! Kids and teens should stop by anytime this week to pick up a screen-free kit filled with activities. We have cool things for adults too. We don’t have to cut out every screen for a whole week, but the library has great things to keep you busy without them.

Community Bingo

Wednesday, May 8 @ 6 p.m.

It’s screen free week, and the library is a great place to be anytime, but especially this week. Children and teens should stop by those desks to pick up a screen free kit loaded with games and activities. This is a community wide event – everyone should join us for some bingo fun this evening. Small prizes will be awarded.

Community Book Swap

Friday, May 10

4 – 6 p.m.

Join us for an all ages Community Book Swap to celebrate Screen Free Week.  Gently used books can be dropped of at the Main Library during open hours May 1-9, limit 1 bag/person, no textbooks or encyclopedias.

Puzzle Race

Saturday, May 11, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Join us for our Screen Free Week APL Puzzle Race!

Gather up a team of 4 of your most dexterous friends and see how quickly you can put together a 500 piece puzzle!

Teams can be made up of all different ages.  Registration is required, 1 person from each team can register for their group.
